Cycling: Chaves claims stage four of Volta a Catalunya as Adam Yates remains overall leader

Jhoan Esteban Chaves claimed the fourth stage of the Volta a Catalunya on Thursday with a solo finish in Port Aine, while Adam Yates retained the overall leader's jersey. The British rider took the lead on Wednesday with a stage victory and is 45 seconds ahead of team-mate Richie Porte, with fellow Ineos rider Geraint Thomas in third. Yates had to settle for fourth place in another hilly stage that was won by Team BikeExchange's Esteban Chaves, who attacked on the final climb and held off a determined chase from Ineos
