Cycling: Pogacar beats Yates to move into lead at Tirreno-Adriatico

Tadej Pogacar held off a strong challenge from Simon Yates to win the fourth stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico race and take the overall lead in Italy on Saturday. The Slovenian sprinted towards the line with Yates in pursuit as the UAE Team Emirates rider continued his strong start to the season. Pogacar took 3h 51'24" to complete the 148 kilometre stretch from Terni to Prati di Tivo, with Yates second just six seconds behind. EF Education-Nippo rider Sergio Higuita finished stage four in third place, 29 seconds behind Pogacar.
