Football: Leader Porto beat Belenenses 3-0 in the Portuguese Primeira Liga

Portuguese Primeira Liga leaders Porto made easy work of Belenenses on Wednesday as they won 3-0 at the Estadio do Dragao. Sergio Conceicao's team broke the deadlock after just five minutes when Yacine Brahimi netted past Muriel after a blunder from the Belenenses defence. Eder Militao doubled the lead 25 minutes later with a powerful header from Alex Telles' cross from the left. Tiquinho's header halfway through the second half sealed the victory for the home team with Belenses reduced to 10 men in the last five minutes of the match after Goncalo Silva was red carded. With this victory, Porto increased their advantage on top of the table to five points, with Benfica taking the second place thanks to their 5-1 thrashing of Boavista and Sporting Lisbon slipping to third following their 1-1 draw at Vitoria Setubal.
