22 year-yer old Austrian mountain biker Elias Ruso landed a 'frontflip heel-clicker' trick at the 2021 Audi Nines event in Birkenfeld, Germany on Thursday, the first time that the manoeuvre has been successfully completed in competition. The complex aerial trick involves the rider performing a forward aerial flip while simultaneously lifting his feet over his arms and bringing them close enough to click his heels together in front of him - and then make the landing. "I'm super, super happy and glad to land my first ever 'frontflip heel-clicker'," Ruso said after the celebrations with fellow competitors had calmed down a bit. "It's actually a world's first trick, so I'm super pumped for it. Can't believe it, to be honest."
