Cricket News: “Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth” - Virat Kohli

The LSG-RCB match was overshadowed by controversy, with Kohli engaging in a heated argument with Gambhir. Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir's post-game spat went viral over internet.

Moreover, other players were also involved in a heated exchange of words during the game. In the same vein, Kohli has posted a cryptic message on his Instagram story. The former Indian captain posted:

"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth."

Gautam Gambhir, the LSG Mentor and Virat Kohli, the former RCB skipper were fined 100 percent of their match fees. Thus, both the Indian batters admitted to the Level 2 infraction under IPL Code of Conduct Article 2.21.

Meanwhile, Naveen-ul-Haq, the LSG bowler was also fined 50% of his match fees after admitting the level 1 offence.

In the encounter, RCB scored 126 runs in a rain-delayed match, led by Du Plessis' 44, while Naveen-ul-Haq took three wickets for LSG. Lucknow, on the other hand, failed to cross the line when chasing a modest score after frequently losing wickets they were swept out for 108.

Ten years after their dramatic confrontation in the middle of the Chinnaswamy pitch when Gambhir commanded KKR, the duo collided once more, this time with Gambhir in the role of LSG mentor.

The violence and intensity among both the passionate, competing players was so intense that it took more than one man to separate them, just as it did a decade before.

On social media, two videos have gone popular. In one, Virat Kohli is seen conversing with LSG opener Kyle Mayers, but Gambhir interrupts and pulls Mayers away from his engagement with the RCB batsman.

Minutes later, the two collided head-on, each saying something to the other. LSG's Amit Mishra and Vijay Dahiya, RCB skipper Faf du Plessis, and a few others rushed in to separate Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir. Both looked enraged at each other.
