Tennis: Raonic defeats Tsonga in Stuttgart Open round of 16

Number six seed Milos Raonic of Canada defeated France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-4, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (1) in two hours and 30 minutes to reach the quarter-finals of the Stuttgart Open. In the next round, Raonic will face Hungary's Marton Fucsovics, who beat fourth-seeded Nikoloz Basilashvili of Georgia 6-7 (4), 6-2, 7-5.
