Tennis: Pouille defeats third-seed Medvedev to reach Stuttgart Open quarters

World number 26 Lucas Pouille of France defeated number three seed Daniil Medvedev of Russia 7-6 (8-6), 4-6, 6-2 to reach the quarter-finals of the Stuttgart Open. In the next round the Frenchman will face Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff, who earlier in the day had beaten Serbia's Miomir Kecmanovic 6-2, 6-2.
