Football News: Jeje Lalpekhlua, Sandesh Jinghan speak exclusively to Power Sportz

India football team are slated to play China on October 13 at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium. Ahead of the match, the 29 member squad is in Delhi attending 2-day camp before they leave for China on October 10, 2018. This is the first time the Senior National Team is travelling to China to play in an International match. The two sides last met in the Nehru Cup in Kochi back in 1997. In order to prepare for the forthcoming AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019, India are slated to play a few International friendlies in the coming months and the coach feels “this are the kind of games we need.” Indian ace striker Jeje Lalpekhlua is looking forward to the friendly fixture against China as he feels it is the perfect platform to bolster the team's preparation for the forthcoming AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019. Sandesh Jhingan, who has established himself as one of the lynchpins in the current Indian team, is looking forward to the friendly fixture against China as an opportunity to "improve as a team."
