Belinda Bencic continued her stunning run of form on Thursday, notching up her 12th consecutive match win at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells. Following victory over Naomi Osaka for the loss of just four games, Bencic beat fifth seed Karolina Pliskova 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 to reach the semi-finals of the event for the first time. Standing between Bencic and her second straight final will be the winner of the last quarter-final between two former world number ones - Angelique Kerber and Venus Williams.
