Motor Sport: UK court rules former Force India owner Vijay Mallya should face extradition

Ex Force India Formula 1 team owner Vijay Mallya lost his legal battle and has been extradited by Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London. Mallya is wanted in India on charges of fraud and money laundering amounting to around Rs 9,000 crore. After hearing the verdict of the London Court Mallya said that he had nothing to be shocked. Judge Emma Arbuthnot said she would send the case to Britain's Home Secretary for review and action. The 62-year-old tycoon can still appeal the ruling, which was made in Westminster Magistrates' Court. He remains free on bail and when leaving the court he told reporters that there was a further lengthy process ahead.
