Motor Sport: Yamaha's Maverick Vinales fastest at second day of MotoGP testing in Valencia

Yamaha Factory Racing's Maverick Vinales continued his perfect start to the 2019 preseason on Wednesday. The Spaniard was fastest in testing for the second consecutive day in Valencia, despite crashing mid-way through the day, with a time of 1 minute 30.757 seconds. Ducati Team's Andrea Dovizioso finished in second place 0.133 seconds behind and 2018 world champion Marc Marquez of Repsol Honda Team placed third, 0.154 seconds slower. Vinales said, ''It has been positive. But anyway, still there is work to do. We need to improve the engine, we need to improve the smoothness and power, so we have a lot of work still.''
