South Korea's Gyeongnam FC beat Johor Darul Ta'zim 2-0 at home on Wednesday but it wasn't enough for them to book a place in the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League. The three points were secured through both goals coming in the second half, giving Gyeongnam eight points from six matches. But with defending champions Kashima Antlers beating Shandong 2-1 at home, that meant Gyeongnam finished third in Group E while the Antlers qualified for the knockout stages with ten points.
