Football: Persepolis beat Al Sadd 2-0 in ACL Group D

Iran's Persepolis beat Al Sadd of Qatar 2-0 at home in Group D of the AFC Champions League on Monday. Persepolis were already out of the running for a place in the knockout stage but secured the comfortable win with goals from either side of half-time to finish their AFC Champions League campaign on a win, managing a total of seven points.
