Shooting News: Shooters say lack of hostel facility is biggest inconvenience for them

Some of the top Indian shooters who recently made the country proud by winning medals at the recently concluded ISSF Air pistol/rifle World Cup have rued the lack of hostel facility at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting range. Shooters like Apurvi Chandela, Anjum Moudgil, Yashaswini Singh and Elavenil, who clinched quota places for 2020 Tokyo Olympics, will have to stay in a hotel due to the absence of hostel persisting as of now. However, the Union sports minister Kiren Rijiju has promised to provide all the help to the shooters and said that he expected the hostel facility to come up within two years at the Karni shooting range.
