Kiren Rijiju: CWG boycott call will be taken by government

Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju has said that the call to boycott 2022 Commonwealth Games will be taken by the government, keeping in mind the fact that the interest and medal prospect of athletes preparing for the multi-sport event does not suffer. He further said that call to boycott will be taken wisely by the government and that the IOA can’t decide on its own whether to take the call or not. Rijiju also said that boycotting at this point of time is not an option.
