Indian women's hockey team has shown marked improvement over the years. The women in blue are now ranked 9th in the FIH rankings and are going into the Asian Games 2018 as the no.1 Asian side. The challenges though are not going to be very easy as there are going to be teams like South Korea, Japan, China in the competition and a gold medal in this competition helps the hockey team book a direct berth for Olympics.
