Hockey News: Olympian Aslam Sher Khan explains ‘illegality’ prevailing in HI to PS

Hockey India being such a prestigious organization has come under the web of questions as to whether it is following National Development Sports Code 2011, something which is of optimum importance for all the National Sports Federations. Blaming Hockey India for creating ‘unusual posts’, Olympian Aslam Sher Khan has alleged that HI is not following the sports code and had created posts in violation of the same. In August, the Delhi HC asked the sports ministry and HI for their justification on the entire matter. Mr. Khan had also filed a complaint with the sports ministry in July. Later, the sports ministry has filed a counter affidavit in the Delhi high court in the matter of Aslam Sher Khan v. Union of India & Others.
