Bengaluru lad Khalin Joshi continued the dominance of Indian golfers at the Panasonic Open by winning the eight edition of the event at the Delhi Golf Club. The win was very special for him as this was his first Asian Tour Title victory// after being runner-up on two previous instances at the 2015 Bangladesh Open and 2017 Take Solution Masters. Joshi’s win also secured his Asian Tour card for 2019-2020 season. Going into the final day as the joint leader with Siddikur Rahman of Bangladesh at -13 under. Joshi started off poorly by bogeying the 1st and 3rd hole. Despite the initial setback, he showed tremendous grit to launch a fight back. Things began to turn his way, with a birdie on the 8th and 10th hole and building on the momentum, a magnificent 4 birdies on the last 5 holes gave Joshi a one-stroke victory over Rahman at -17 under 271.
