Federer defeated Raonic in straight sets 6-4, 7-6. Swiss star celebrated his return to the number one spot in the ATP rankings. Federer reclaimed the number one spot from Rafael Nadal. Federer wrapped up his 18th grass-court title in one hour and 18 minutes. Federer won his 98th title overall and his third of the season.
