Double world champion Fernando Alonso is set to return to Formula 1 with Renault in 2021, according to media reports on Tuesday. The 38-year-old Spaniard has been out of the sport since appearing to bring down the curtain on his career with McLaren in 2018. Alonso, who won successive championships with Renault in 2005 and 2006, is reportedly primed to replace McLaren-bound Daniel Ricciardo.
