Motor Sport: Three-time F1 world champion Niki Lauda successfully undergoes a lung transplant operation

Niki Lauda's Ferrari was engulfed in fire and crashed at the German Grand Prix on 1st August 1976. Lauda survived despite being given the last rites in hospital. Niki Lauda returned to the cockpit just six weeks later with bandages.
