Football: Terzic defends Hummels after talisman critical of Dortmund defence

Borussia Dortmund interim coach Edin Terzic on Thursday defended star defender Mats Hummels after he criticised former coach Lucien Favre in an interview. Favre was sacked last month after Dortmund were beaten 5-1 at home by Stuttgart. Terzic said that Hummels was a leader and that the most important thing to note was that he included himself in the criticism by using the word "we". The interim coach was speaking at a news conference along with sporting director Michael Zorc ahead of Saturday's Bundsliga game away to RB Leipzig who are two places and six points above fourth-placed Dortmund.
