Football: St Mirren held 10-man Celtic to a goalless draw

St Mirren frustrated 10-man Celtic as they held the visitors to a goalless draw in the Scottish Premiership. Olivier Ntcham received a second yellow card for a clumsy challenge on St Mirren's Stephen McGinn seven minutes before half-time. Hosts enjoyed the better of the chances early on, with Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon called on to beat away Cammy Smith's third minute free-kick. Belgian defender Dedryck Boyata had the best of Celtic's first-half chances when his goalbound header was cleared off the line by Ryan Flynn. Boyata remained an attacking threat for Celtic after the break, but this time his late header landed on the top of the St Mirren goal. It finished 0-0 Celtic are two points behind leaders Hearts, while St Mirren remain towards the wrong end of the table.
