Football: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Man Utd transformation - one year into his Old Trafford reign

On this day in 2019, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became the permanent manager of Manchester United, signing a three-year contract with the Premier League club. Solskjaer was named as the club's interim manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December 2018. The Norwegian was already a club hero at Old Trafford, having scored a stoppage-time winner in the 1999 UEFA Champions League final against Bayern Munich.
