Head coach Diego Simeone said he had full confidence in his players after keeping faith with the Atletico Madrid side that had lost 1-0 midweek to Milan in the UEFA Champions League.

Simeone named an unchanged side for Atletico's 4-1 La Liga victory at struggling Cadiz on Sunday.

The win kept the pressure on Real Madrid at the top of the table, as Atletico made it seven games unbeaten in La Liga thanks to second-half goals from Thomas Lemar, Antoine Griezmann, Angel Correa and Matheus Cunha.
