Football: Napoli are held to 1-1 draw at home by 10-man Genoa in Serie A

Second-placed Napoli were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw in the Serie A on Sunday, by a Genoa side who played with 10 men for more than 60 minutes. Genoa had former Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro sent off in the 28th minute following VAR review for a foul on Allan, and Dries Mertens scored shortly after with a brilliant curved ball. Genoa found the net just before half time with a fantastic right-footed volley from Darko Lazovic. In the second half, Napoli dominated but despite their effort couldn't score as Genoa goalkeeper Radu produced a few brilliant saves, the best coming from a Mertens shot deflected by his team-mate, Gunter. With this result, the title race is virtually decided as Napoli find themselves 20 points behind leaders Juventus with seven games left to play.
