Football: Gerard Pique confirms Spain retirement

The Barcelona defender won 102 caps for Spain, winning the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012. Pique has had a difficult relationship with Spanish fans over his pro-Catalan views. He was part of the side that was knocked out in the last 16 of the 2018 World Cup.
