Football: Eight-year-old leukaemia patient plays for Seattle against Borussia Dortmund

It was the game of a lifetime for 8-year-old Bheem Goyal on the Seattle Sounders field. Thanks to a partnership between the Sounders and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Goyal, who is suffering from acute lymphocytic leukemia, was given the chance to kick off the Sounders game against Borussia Dortmund as the goalie. Seattle Sounders FC, in partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation, invited eight-year-old goalkeeper Bheem Goyal to join the first team for their friendly match against Borussia Dortmund at the CenturyLink Field on Thursday. Bheem is a Sounders fan who sadly suffers from leukaemia, but he was handed the opportunity to start the match in goal for his favourite club and came off to huge applause from the crowd and his new Seattle team-mates.
