Football: Covid could make football vulnerable to match fixing claims former EPL player

A former professional footballer who was jailed in 2015 for match-fixing allegations has told SNTV the financial crisis in football caused by the coronavirus could make players more vulnerable to taking bribes. Former Crystal Palace defender Moses Swaibu, who was imprisoned for 16 months alongside former Premier League player Delroy Facey for conspiracy to commit bribery related to match-fixing, now tours the academies of English top-tier sides to warn about the dangers of being corrupted by match-fixing syndicates.
