Football: Australia book their place in quarter-final of AFC U-23 Championship

Ramy Najjarine scored in the 34th minute for Australia. Mohamed Jasim Marhoon added the equalizer for Bahrain as Australia booked their place in the quarters of the AFC U-23 Championship after playing a 1-1 draw against Bahrain. Australia topped Group A with five points, one point ahead of hosts Thailand.
