Cricket News: COA chief Vinod Rai opens up on Kohli-Sharma 'rift'

Team India suffered a heartbreaking defeat to New Zealand in the semi-final match. Right after that, there were some reports surfacing that the Board of Control for Cricket in India might go for the split captaincy which was, Sharma for limited-overs and Kohli for tests. But amid the spiralling speculation of a rift between India captain Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma, Committee of Administrators chief Vinod Rai cleared the fog from the matter saying that these are the stories which are created and there is nothing like that. Social media was abuzz with talks of a cold war between Kohli and Sharma after it was reported that the two have had fallout following India’s loss to New Zealand in the World Cup semifinals.
