The first ever stand-alone ICC Women's World Twenty20 is set to begin on Friday (9th November) on the Caribbean island of Providence. West Indies are the defending champions - and the hosts will take on Bangladesh in the final match of the day. Friday's two remaining matches will feature India against New Zealand, and Australia versus Pakistan. In the past, the Women's World Twenty20 was always played as part of the Men's Twenty20 World Cup. Australia and the West Indies will begin as the favourites to win the tournament, with the final on the 24th November.
