Cricket: Ali hungry to return to Test Cricket with England

All-rounder Moeen Ali said on Wednesday that he has never experienced racism during his time in English cricket. Ali was asked about the subject after former umpires John Holder and Ismail Dawood's recently questioned the ECB's (England and Wales Cricket Board) failure to add a black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) umpire to its first-class list since 1992 Dawood also said he has heard racist language used in front of senior ECB staff, which went unchallenged. Asked about his own experiences in cricket, Ali, who is currently with the England squad in South Africa to take part in T20 and ODI (One-Day International) series, said: "I can honestly say, hand on heart, I've never experienced anything like that."
