Boxing: Shields, Hammer set for fight labelled the 'biggest in women's boxing history'

Claressa Shields and Christina Hammer squared up in New York City ahead of their middleweight fight with the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO belts all on the line. Shields holds the WBA, WBC and IBF titles while Hammer is putting up her WBO belt in the unification bout in Atlantic City. The 24-year-old Shields, who is also a two-time U.S. Olympic gold medallist has promised Hammer is "going to get nailed." Hammer, who has dominated the middleweight division throughout the decade, was supposed to face Shields in November 2018, but postponed the fight because of a stomach illness. Shields (8-0, 2 KOs) and Hammer (24-0, 11 KOs) are both undefeated ahead of their fight at Boardwalk Hall.
