Tennis News : Nadal happy with 'good victory' at the Mexican Open

Rafael Nadal is happy with his first victory since winning the Australian Open title.

The Spaniard equalled his best career start to an ATP Tour season with a 6-3, 6-2 win over American Denis Kudla in the first round of the Mexican Open on Tuesday.  

Nadal, who played in his first match since winning the Australian Open, is now 11-0 on the ATP Tour this season.

The 21-time Grand Slam champion will meet another American - Stefan Kozlov in the second round.
