Power Sportz is India's first Sports news channel, and its founder, Ms Kanthi D Suresh, is the first Indian woman to head a sports channel which runs live 24x7. In an exclusive chat, Kanthi speaks about the entrepreneurial journey before the channel was launched and was quite upfront on the difficulties faced in that period.' I was a nobody, I lost my identity', she confesses candidly. She also goes on to talk about how she was dissuaded from starting the channel because it was not cricket centric. Yes, it was a risk, but I chose to break that barrier, mentally, she quips. She elucidates on the importance of motherhood to women and claims that on account of experiencing motherhood herself, she is now a better entrepreneur.
