China beat Azerbaijan in straight sets 25-17, 25-16, 25-17 in the second round of the Women's World Championship. China improved to 6-1, while Azerbaijan dropped to 2-5 in the second round of the Women's World Championship. Middle blocker Yuan Xinyue finished as top scorer with 17 points, including five aces, while Gong Xiangyu added 13. Polina Rahimova was the top scorer for Azerbaijan with 11 points.
