China have won eight and lost one of their nine games, meaning they progressed in the competition. The 2006 and 2010 champions Russia are eliminated as they won six and lost three after the defeat to China, meaning they missed out to USA who won seven and lost two. Russia had the higher individual point scorers with Kseniia Parubets and Irina Voronkova, who both scored 25 points. China's top scorer Yan Ni finished the game with 16 points, but her team had the overall better performance. China, Italy and USA advanced to the third round from Pool F.
