Tennis: Tsitsipas tops leaderboard with victory at Ultimate Tennis Showdown

Day eight of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown in Biot, France and Stefanos Tsitsipas ended Corentin Moutet's hopes of reaching next week's knockout stages. The Greek world number six recovered from losing the first two quarters to win in sudden death. After suffering a crushing loss on Saturday to Tsitsipas, Matteo Berrettini came out firing to record a 4-0 victory over Aussie Alexei Popyrin, making the Italian a heavy favourite to join Tsitsipas in the knockouts. Elliot Benchetrit also remains in with a chance of progressing into next week after beating Dustin Brown 3-1.
