Tennis: Top seed Djokovic beats Soeda to advance to Japan Open quarter-finals

World number one Novak Djokovic eased into the quarter-finals of the Japan Open on Wednesday, overcoming veteran and local favourite Go Soeda 6-3, 7-5, with no signs of the shoulder injury that forced him out of the US Open a month ago. The top seed will play France's Lucas Pouille in the last eight.
