Tennis News : Nadal defeats determined Sinner 7-5 6-4 in Rome

Rafal Nadal held off a determined Jannik Sinner to advance to the quarter finals of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome on Wednesday. The second seed was on the back foot earlier as Sinner broke in the first game. He pushed Nadal all the way, but ultimately the Spaniard was able to secure the first set on an unforced error from Sinner. In the second, Nadal was again on the back foot, trailing 4-2 when he turned his game around, winning four straight to close out the match.
