Tennis : Monfils beats Cecchinato in three sets to reach second round of German Open

Monfils overcame sixth seed Marco Cecchinato 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 in the first round. Frenchman Gael Monfils won the match in an hour and 39 minutes.
