Swimming: Two world records on opening day of 2018 World Swimming Championships

Two new world records made in the 25th World Swimming Championships. Danas Rapsys won the Men's 400-metre Freestyle in 3 minutes 34.01 seconds. Ariarne Titmus won the Women's 200-metre Freestyle in 1 minute 51.38 seconds. Daiya Seto won the gold medal in Men's 200-metre Butterfly with a world record time. Katinka Hosszu won the gold medal in the Women's 400-metre individual medley. Wang Shun took the gold medal in Men's 200-metre individual medley. The USA won Women's 4 x 100 freestyle relay in 3 minutes 27.78 seconds. The USA won Men's 4 x 100-metre freestyle relay in a new world record time.
