Snooker : World Snooker Championship postponed because of coronavirus

The World Snooker Championship has been postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. The tournament was originally due to be played between 18 April and 4 May at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. Organisers are aiming for it to be rescheduled for July or August later this year. Judd Trump lifted the trophy for the first time last year when he beat John Higgins 18-9.
