SEA Games: Philippines take gold medal at basketball events

Hosts Philippines showed stupendous form and temperament in the men’s and women’s final of the basketball in SEA Games. In the men's final, the Philippines beat Thailand 115-81 to win the gold medal. While, in the women's event, Philippines overcame Thailand in a one-sided contest 91-71, to win the gold medal.
