Golf: Rory McIlroy favours Ryder Cup postponement to event without spectators

Four-time major winner Rory McIlroy is in favour of postponing the Ryder Cup until 2021, instead of play it this year without spectators. The first two major championships of the year - the Masters and the US PGA Championship - have already been postponed, although the Ryder Cup is still scheduled to take place at Whistling Straits in September. But McIlroy said on a social media Live event that if fans were unable to attend this year's event, it wouldn't be a great spectacle, there'd be no atmosphere.
