Matt Jones won his second Australian Open golf championship. Jones, who clinched his first title here in 2015, won his second by one stroke after the final round of 2-under 69. Oosthuizen finished second after the final round of 66, playing his first tournament in Sydney. Japanese amateur Takumi Kanaya finished tied third with Aaron Pike at nine-under.
