GOLF : Brooks Koepka leads PGA Championship by seven shots at halfway stage

Another storming round saw defending champion Brooks Koepka move to a seven-shot lead after the second round of the PGA Championship on Friday. Koepka's 36-hole total of 128 after rounds of 63 and 65 is the lowest two-round score in major championship history, and leaves him well placed to win his fourth major from the last eight he has played. Playing partner Tiger Woods did not fare so well, and despite flashes of brilliance, a round of 73 means he missed the cut by a shot on five over par. In the chasing pack are Jordan Spieth and Adam Scott on five under par, while five players - four Americans and one Briton - Matt Wallace - lie a further shot back at the halfway stage.
