Football: Second division Heidenheim stun Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 in DFB-Pokal 3rd round

Three days after beating Bayern Munich 3-1 in the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen were stunned by second division Heidenheim, losing 2-1 in the DFB-Pokal third round. Bayer dominated possession in the first half and broke the deadlock just before half time, when Julian Brandt found the net from Charles Aranguiz's assist. Things changed after the interval, as Heidenheim levelled up just two minutes into the second half with a fine solo effort from Nikola Dovedan. And the home side completed their come-back victory in the 72nd minute, with Maurice Multhaup's shot from inside the six-yard box crossing the line before defender Aleksandar Dragovic's attempted clearance.
