Football: Olympiacos thrash AEK Athens 4-1 in the Super League Greece

Olympiacos fought back from a half-time deficit to beat visitors AEK Athens 4-1, cutting PAOK's lead at the top of the Greek Superleague standings to six points in the process. AEK took the lead inside three minutes when Olympiacos goalkeeper Jose Sa parried a cross from Viktor Klonaridis, allowing Ezequiel Ponce to pounce. Olympiacos levelled through Mady Camara five minutes into the second half and Konstantinos Fortounis put the 'Red and Whites' ahead in the 72nd minute, beating Vasileios Barkas from the edge of the penalty area. Barkas was retrieving the ball from his goal again in the 83rd minute after mis-judging a shot from Ahmed Hassan. And Fortounis sealed the win four minutes later, completing his brace after AEK were caught on the break. PAOK can restore their nine-point lead at the top of the table when they play their game in hand on Monday, visiting bottom side Apollon Smyrnis.
